A new opportunity is available with this reputable North-East based business for an Assistant Finance Manager. This position is newly created due to growth and will expand on an existing regional team.
Working closely with the Finance Director and reporting to the Finance Manager this role will involve:
*Preparation of monthly management accounts, inclusive of P&L, Balance sheet, cashflow and bank reporting
*Reporting of data to Group
*Consolidate the monthly closing processes within strict timescales
*Monthly management reporting with commentary
*Budgeting and forecasting and comments on variances
*Board reporting
*Reconciliations inclusive of payrolls
*Joint Venture- responsibility for productions of management accounts. Statutory accounts
*Liaising with internal and external agencies
*Contribution to the annual budgeting
*Ensure all areas of the business comply with statutory requirements
Ideally you will have:
*Qualified ACCA / CIMA / ACA
*Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
*Experience of working within the construction industry is advantageous
