The role is for a Management Accountant - offering an excellent all round finance opportunity, with varied responsibility and lots of exposure to commercial aspects of finance. They will provide huge scope for progression both parallel and vertical opportunities that will open up during your time in this business.
Reporting directly into the Finance Manager you will be responsible for:
* Production of reconciled monthly and year-end accounts in accordance with agreed timetables.
* Weekly profit and working capital forecasts.
* Weekly profit and working capital forecasts.
* Provide accurate and timely support to all interfaces within the business.
* Work as a team, providing assistance and help to colleagues.
* Part of the depot management team, providing financial input and support.
* Liaise and deal with all depot accounting queries/problems.
* Ad-hoc investigation work at depots.
* Audit of relevant depot accounting systems to ensure the integrity of depot output.
* Specific Central Finance office functions, such as Stock Management, Intrastat, Vehicle Leasing, Foreign Currency, Capital Expenditure, etc.
Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the below experience:
* ACCA/ACA/CIMA part qualified with previous strong experiences within the finance function.
* Strong Excel skills
* Ability to adapt and pick up projects on an ad hoc basis.
