Reporting to the Credit Supervisor you will have responsibility for:
*Forming and maintaining relationships with suppliers and customers.
*Being the main point of contact dealing with payment queries and setting up repayment plans for customers.
*Checking customers credit, negotiating, and implementing payment terms.
*Ensuring customers are paying their balances and invoices on time, charging and chasing them for payment if not.
*Preparing statements and reports for the company accountant.
*Managing internal and external debt payment question and queries.
*Maintaining accurate records.
*Implementing changes in the credit control system.

Ideally you will have:
*Proven past experience working within credit control or a similar finance background.
*5x GCSE including Maths and English.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

This is a full-time temporary role on an initial 6-month contract with opportunity to extend or go permanent based on performance.
