Job description

I am working with a client based in Leeds who are looking to bring in a part time Accounts Assistant to their small finance team. Ideally you will cover 3 days per week, Monday - Wednesday with a normal full time working week being 40 hours.

The role responsibilities will involve:

* Credit control - sending out customer statements, chasing aged debt via email, telephone and letter and compiling monthly report
* Reconciling Supplier statements for month end payments
* Setting up new Customers & Suppliers
* Entering Bank receipts and payments software
* Holiday/Absence cover for other part time Accounts Assistant monitoring accounts email and entering purchase invoices
* Holiday/Absence cover for Accounts Manager making necessary payments, possibly payroll, VAT and CIS submissions

I would be keen to hear from candidates with the following skills and experiences:

* Good IT skills - Previous experience in Sage would be very advantageous
* Proficient in using Excel with the ability to compile reports
* Have a flexible attitude to working
