The main duties of the role are to include:
*Daily reconciliation of bank account and cash book
*Reviewal and processing of finance contracts
*Purchase/Sales ledger control
*Month end reconciliations
*Providing MI to the Assistant Accountant for them to produce the board packs
*Assistance with budgets for the company's overheads
*Prepare cash flow forecasts to help the board make strategic decisions
*Review the Income Statement and Statement of Financial Position to create journals for accruals
*and prepayments
*Processing departmental journal to apportion costs to the relevant areas within the company
*Managing the fixed asset register
*Processing invoices
*Processing of daily payment run
*Assistance in the preparation of VAT returns
*Other Ad-hoc tasks as required
