The candidate's responsibilities include:
* Dealing with queries from staff in region and central teams
* Key communication with senior levels of finance
* Assisting with the production of the year end processes
* Posting journals, accruals and prepayments
* Review P&L against budget
* Undertake cost saving exercises
* Reconciling creditor and debtor accounts
* Chasing customer debts and other credit control duties
* Weekly bank reconciliations
* Assisting with VAT processes and reporting
* Assisting with the production of the year end audit pack
* Completing monthly balance sheet reconciliations
* Preparation of weekly KPI/Stats reporting
The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
* Demonstrate the ability to handle individual workload, as well working closely with the finance team.
* Showing the initiative to strategise and make key decision whilst liaising with senior members of Finance.
* Making sure that professional skills are regularly updated through participation in training and development activities.
* Ensure all policies are implemented within the remit of this post.
