A leading business in Harrogate seeks an experienced Management Accountant to support them for the next 12months as a member of their team is going on maternity leave shortly.
The key tasks for the role include:
* Assist in preparation of management accounts packs including calculation and posting of accruals, prepayments, payroll journals
* Variance analysis and assistance with preparation of monthly P+Ls
* Preparation of monthly recharges and reconciliation of intercompany balances, working with finance team to investigate any differences
* Monthly reconciliation of balance sheet codes
* Maintaining sales ledgers, ensuring the invoiced amounts reflect any contract changes and are collected in a timely manner
* Preparation of VAT returns
* Respond to audit queries and provide information for preparation of statutory accounts
* Maintain controls and processes
You may be CCAB qualified, part qualified or qualified by experience but you must have a proven ability to support with accounts production, very good Excel skills and a professional approach.
