Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be working with a well-known business based in Sheffield that are looking for a Finance Assistant to join their friendly and welcoming finance team, on a full time & permanent basis
The successful candidate will play a big role in the team and assist in a number of key areas across the Transaction finance duties.
This role will include:
- Carrying out daily banking, posting payments and receipts
- Carrying out monthly bank reconciliations for multiple companies. This could include completing the bank reconciliations on a weekly basis when need and also reconciling the general bank accounts as well as cashbook posting
- Assist with the credit control and uploading sales invoices
- Assist with the wider finance function as required on Purchase Ledger, Commissions and processing refunds
- Opportunity to carry out tasks related to Balance Sheet including Accruals and prepayments further down the line as your develop in the business
Skills and experience:
- AAT qualified or currently studying towards a qualification
- Previous experience working within a similar role
- Good excel skills
- Ability to communicate well with other departments and external customers
