Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be working alongside a growing company within the logistics and service sector of which are on the lookout for a Credit Controller to join their team on a temporary basis. This business has contracts with huge companies across the UK and, due to their established reputation, further growth is forecasted.
This is a project focused role with the focus to rectify aged debt within the business. They are looking for someone to support their small finance function on a temporary basis whilst the given project is being completed, throughout a 3 month contract with the possibility of it being extended. Hybrid working is a possibility once you have become established within the position and there is also the chance to earn a succession bonus based on how well the overdue debtor issues are resolved.
The role includes:
-Sorting historical issues with debtor's ledger and customer portals
-Chasing payments and resolving payment queries.
-Working alongside the sales and other departments in order to trace documents
-Highlighting any issues to the Finance Manager
Skills and experience:
-Experience working within a similar role
-Great communication skills - able to communicate with customers and colleagues alike
-Experience on Microsoft Dynamics (beneficial not essential)
