Chris Sharp

Founder

Chris founded Sharp Consultancy in 1992 which has since grown to become a leading presence in the Northern marketplace.  Chris now operates within the highly experienced Main-Board executive search team identifying, selecting and placing candidates in financial and non-financial senior level positions within a broad range of small to medium sized enterprises, owner managed businesses and major global organisations throughout Yorkshire, the North of England and beyond.

Mark Wilson

Managing Director

Having previously been a non executive director of the business, Mark took over the day to day running of Sharp Consultancy in 2002 and is responsible for the financial performance and continued development of the company.  A Chartered Accountant who qualified with KPMG, Mark has held a number of challenging Finance and Operating Director roles within the service, manufacturing and construction sectors.

Lee Sweeney

Executive Director

Lee joined the Sheffield office of Sharp Consultancy in 1996 and opened the firm’s Leeds operation four years later. He advises major accounting practices, venture capitalists and banks in the North of England on the appointment of senior finance professionals in roles within corporate finance, corporate recovery and restructuring, audit, tax, leveraged and structured finance and private equity.

Jamie Caulfield

Regional Director

Jamie joined Sharp Consultancy in 2005 as a researcher and his excellent performance saw him gain promotions to Regional Manager through to his current position of Regional Director.  He is focused upon the sourcing and placement of qualified and part qualified candidates for companies in the West Yorkshire area, as well as having strategic involvement in the daily management and performance of the team and future growth of the business.

Aaron Pepperday

Regional Director

Aaron began working in recruitment in 2002.  He joined Sharp Consultancy in January 2011 and now manages the part qualified and qualified team in South Yorkshire as well as having responsibility for the recruitment of senior finance and accountancy professionals.  Aaron works with a large client base on both an exclusive and contingency basis, ranging from SME to Plc within the South Yorkshire region and surrounding areas, typically handling the recruitment of middle management through to Director level.

Andrew Walker

Regional Manager

Andrew brings more than 13 years’ experience in recruitment to his role and joined Sharp Consultancy in 2010. As Regional Manager he is accountable for the overall performance of the South Yorkshire clerical team, specifically heading up a team that handles temporary and permanent finance support placements across South Yorkshire and the surrounding area.
