This is an industry leading business in their sector, with a turnover in excess of £150m so I am looking for someone from a large corporate company background.
The team is circa 12 transactional finance staff including Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Credit Control and Cash and Banking teams. I am looking for someone who has led a team of 6 more staff.
Managing a variety of finance disciplines is beneficial, but not essential for this appointment. Experienced Accounts Payable Team Leaders looking for more variety, or Accounts Receivable Supervisors looking for exposure to the other side of the ledgers could be equally as suitable for this role as someone who has managed a transactional team.
What is important is someone who has been involved in project work, for example process, procedural and systems implementations and improvements. The company is growing well and needs to implement appropriate controls across the ledgers as volumes continue to improve.
This role is based close to the A1 and the M62, it is easily accessible from West and South Yorkshire.
I am expecting a circa £30k salary depending upon experience.
