Our client is a professional practice of excellent standing based in Leeds centre. They are currently looking for a talented Semi Senior Accountant to join their team.

This is an exciting opportunity which will offer you a real chance to develop your career. Our client has a strong development program in place for the successful candidate, and have a clear path for progression which they will be happy to discuss at interview.

Duties will include:

*Managing your own portfolio of clients
*Preparation of annual accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
*Client Bookkeeping
*Financial accounts production
*Production of management accounts
*Ad hoc reporting for clients
*Personal tax returns
*Corporation tax returns
*VAT returns
*Acting as a senior member of the team
*Training and mentoring more junior members of team

This role will ideally suit a talented Accountant who may have completed their AAT studies or being in the process of studying their ACA or ACCA exams. To be successful in this role you will need a positive 'can-do' attitude, and excellent attention to detail. You will also need good IT skills including intermediate Excel Skills.
