Based in Central Sheffield but with the opportunity for Hybrid working this is a fantastic opportunity for a Qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent project Accountant to join a business that is currently undergoing significant change including a new ERP system and structure overhaul. As internal resources are seconded to the wider project there is an opportunity for the successful candidate to join for an initial 18 month contract term.
The role will take responsibility for:
* Working closely with Programme Directors on an ambitious revitalisation programme developing the existing asset renewal programme and the transition to an ALMO model for provision of services.
* Production of performance reports to manage project budgets & Forecasting
* Advising Stakeholders key variances
* Support the team in implementation of the target operating model
The successful candidate will demonstrate experience in a similar role, ideally in a public sector setting, however this is not essential. You will also demonstrate a flexible and pro-active approach to work. In return this role offers Hybrid working, a 37 hour full time week and access to an excellent range of benefits
