Our client based on the outskirts of Leeds are looking to recruit a Part Time Payroll Assistant to work alongside the Payroll Manager to ensure the smooth running of the full Payroll function.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

*Responsible for supporting the Payroll Manager in running 5 monthly payrolls for 500+ employees
*Liaising with the HR department and the wider business to keep payroll and benefit details up to date
*Processing starters and leaver and calculating pro rata payments
*Issuing P45's and final payslips
*Analysing and resolving pay queries and providing information when required
*Processing payroll calculations including manual calculations when needed
*Reconciliation of payroll and supplying month end reporting
*Calculating Payroll from end to end
*Balancing and paying PAYE across to HMRC monthly
*Being committed to maintaining payroll legislation knowledge
*Reconciliation of Pension contributions/Court Orders for Third party payments including Auto enrolment duties

The ideal candidate will:
*Have a strong background payroll in general
*Have strong verbal and written communication skills
*Good personal time management and organisational skills
*Have the confidence to communicate at all levels of the business
*Have intermediate Excel skills
*Have the ability to work under pressure to achieve Payroll deadlines
*Very high standard of confidentiality/Reliability
