Management Accountant

​This is a fantastic opportunity within the Care industry for a fully qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) to join a high-performing finance team during an exciting period of expansion and operational development.

In your role as Management Accountant, you will report directly to the Finance Manager and develop a deep understanding of the organisation’s production processes, cost drivers, and overall financial performance. Core responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Preparing monthly management accounts.

  • Contributing to the preparation of budgets and forecasts.

  • Completing balance sheet reconciliations and resolving any variances.

  • Managing accruals and prepayments.

  • Reviewing financial results.

  • Supporting month-end and year-end close activities.

  • Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data.

  • Assisting with external and internal audits, providing necessary documentation and support.

  • Undertaking ad hoc analysis and reporting, including initiatives focused on cost optimisation and process improvement.

As you establish yourself in the role, there will be opportunities to take on greater responsibility and contribute more directly to strategic planning and business performance.

The ideal candidate will be fully qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with prior experience in a management accounting role. You will have strong analytical capabilities, a proactive mindset, and the drive to continuously improve both processes and financial outcomes.
