Duties will include but are not limited to:
*Lead on the preparation of the monthly management accounts.
*Analyse actual spend vs. budgets/forecasts and explain any variances.
*Work alongside operational teams to assist with any finance related queries.
*Offer professional input on financial matters and provide advice on ways to improve business performance and strategies to reduce cost.
*Analyse and manage risk.
*Assist with audit file preparation.
*Support and development of the Assistant Management Accountant and Accounts Assistant in their roles.
*Support the Payroll team as and when required.
*Other ad hoc tasks as requested by other senior members of the Finance team.
Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the below experience:
*Be at the finalist stage of the qualification or be a qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA).
*High level of analytical skills and high attention to detail.
*Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*Strong Excel skills with the ability to use pivot tables and vlookups.
