They have a strong presence in the marketplace and as such are looking to recruit an ambitious individual who can offer strategic value regarding commercial decisions, working closely with the senior management team preparing the month end accounts and taking on further responsibility within the business.
This is a superb opportunity for a Commercially minded Assistant/Management Accountant looking for an opportunity to grow and develop. As the Management Accountant you will be responsible for supporting analysing and reporting on financial data within the organisation ensuring that the departments in your area of responsibility receive timely and accurate information.
Study support will be provided, alongside a terrific package including hybrid working and flexible hours.
The role consists of the below areas of responsibility, with additional opportunities related to projects.
Role Specification:
*Produce monthly management accounts
*Investigate variances against expectations and statistics and provide analysis of differences
*Support the production of annual forecasts and budgets along with other budget holders
*Responsible for monitoring capital expenditure against approvals and budget and capital reporting
*Production of weekly cash forecast, including review
*Reconciliation of various balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis
*Various ad-hoc analysis
Person specification:
*Part qualified or with relevant experience
*Excellent interpersonal skills
*Displays a proactive approach
*Attention to detail and pride in strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
*Disciplined approach to work including the ability to work under pressure to manage conflicting priorities and meet tight deadlines
*Strong organisational skills
*Able to work as part of a team as well as individually
