Sharp Consultancy are exclusively working with a leading Sheffield business, in growing their progressive and established Finance Team by recruiting an equally ambitious Management Accountant to their team.
You will assist the accurate and efficient processing of all financial data within the Finance Department whilst ensuring the preparation, collation and presentation of timely and accurate financial and management data.
This is a brand-new role due to growth and represents an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious & driven ACA/ACCA/CIMA part-qualified Assistant Accountant/Management Accountant looking to develop their career!
Duties/responsibilities will include:
*Support the preparation of timely and accurate monthly management accounts
*Preparation of journals and final GL balances including preparation of month end balance sheet reconciliations and control accounts
*Ensure the accuracy and integrity of accounting records and financial systems
*Assist in the preparation and production of the statutory accounts
*To provide assistance in responding to queries regarding statutory accounts
*Assist in the preparation of budgets
*Assist in the preparation of forecasts
*Assist in the preparation of business plans
*Assist in working with ad hoc Projects
*Preparation and review of bank reconciliations and posting of cash books
*Assisting with Group projects
*Deal with queries, discrepancies and other deficiencies in ledger documentation
*Oversee and review purchase ledger payment routines carried out by the Accounts Assistants
