I am currently recruiting an Accounts Assistant for a highly successful business based in Barnsley. This business is currently working on a national scale, with 9 sites across the UK.
They are in search of a driven, and motivated graduate or AAT studier to join their small but welcoming finance function based in Barnsley. This will be a varied post with an opportunity to learn several finance functions.
This role would be perfect for someone who is looking for an opportunity to learn, develop and progress their career in Accounting and Finance.
We are expecting a salary up to £25,000, dependent on qualifications and experience.
Key responsibilities of this role include, but not exclusive to:
* Assisting with accounts payable duties, for example, processing purchase invoices, matching them to POs/delivery notes, sending remittances and getting invoices ready for payment
* Assisting with accounts receivable duties, for example, raising sales invoices and credit notes, cash allocation
* Payroll administration
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
* AAT studier/Recent Accountancy and Finance Graduate
* Attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment
