Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be partnering with a well-established and highly respected accountancy practice in Sheffield in their search for a Junior Accountant.

Working alongside experienced accountants, you'll gain hands-on exposure to bookkeeping, VAT returns and accounts preparation, whilst building your confidence in dealing with clients and developing your technical knowledge. You'll be encouraged to take ownership of your work, ask questions and continue learning, with support available towards your professional qualifications.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Preparing quarterly VAT Returns

  • Accounts preparation

  • Assisting with bookkeeping

  • Work with the accounts team to provide support to a diverse portfolio of clients

  • Maintain accurate financial records

  • Who you are:

  • AAT Studier

  • Previous experience within an accountancy firm
