A leading international manufacturing business in Shipley seeks an experienced Management Accountant for an initial 12-month contract.
Key tasks include:
*Fixed asset management including creation of asset numbers, tracking, allocation of costs and disposals
*Physical audits on plant and machinery in all areas of the manufacturing site
*Depreciation calculations for monthly accounts and annual plans
*Monthly group reporting on fixed assets
*Assisting with the production of monthly management accounts to a tight deadline, and subsequent reporting and variance analysis
*Working with other departments to create bi-annual business plans
*Assisting in preparation of ad-hoc forecasts and estimates
*Monthly prepayments and accruals
*National statistics surveys
*Liaising with auditors during the annual audits for both statutory accounts and tax analysis
*Creation of weekly cash forecasts
*FX and treasury reporting to group
*Monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
Ideally, you will be CCAB qualified (ACA, CIMA, ACCA), however people who are qualified by experience will be considered so long as you have significant fixed asset experience and thrive in a busy environment.
This is a great opportunity to join a highly successful team but please only apply if you are able to start May/June 2022 and will commit to the 12-month contract.
