Sharp Consultancy is currently recruiting exclusively on behalf of a market leading manufacturing client within the South Yorkshire area for an Interim Group Accountant. You will report directly into the Divisional FD and you will be responsible for the financial accounting processes and key decision making within the group related to the technical reports and audit assistance you provide.
Your responsibilities will include; management of the statutory accounts process, key project leadership between finance and non-finance, ensuring the financial accounting records are maintained accurately and correctly at all times, support towards the audit process and guidance towards the internal auditors to ensure that financial best practice is adopted across the group.
All applicants should preferably be chartered accountants having trained and qualified within a top 20 firm also though any previous statutory accounting experience will be considered, especially if you are able to demonstrate significant IFRS and Financial Accounting experience. Experience of a large ERP system and Advanced Excel skills would be highly advantageous but not essential.
