Working for a Nationally recognised construction business there is an opportunity for a PQ ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent accountant to join the business for an initial 6-month contract. This is a full time Finance Assistant role working as part of a well-established, but changing team, in a multi Ltd company environment. This role will take responsibility for the following key areas:
*Overhead Review and reporting.
*Balance Sheet reconciliations, including trending of balances.
*Balance Sheet regional reporting.
*Intercompany reconciliations.
*Assist with VAT returns Preparation.
*Fixed Asset Register.
*Ad-hoc journals including payroll weekly journals.
*Month end jet reporting and reconciliations.
*Any other ad-hoc projects / analysis that is required by the Regeneration finance team.
This role will suit an individual seeking to utilise existing skills in a large business offering exposure to a range of senior stakeholders and cross divisional teams. The role requires an individual who can demonstrate not only technical accounting ability but also strong communication, IT skills, and a flexible / proactive approach.
