My client has a genuinely exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor to join them on a permanent basis to be based in Leeds city centre and include travelling to their Northern regional offices (day travel).

The ability to form strong stakeholder relationships is an imperative part of this role as this will essentially be a stand-alone position responsible for 3 Northern sites therefore, will be best suited to candidates with a broad generalist skillset.

You will be part of a larger HR team who are based in the South who will support you via regular visits to the Leeds office and vice versa.

THE ROLE:

*Providing generalist HR advice
*Managing recruitment and on boarding
*All aspects of Employee Relations
*Overseeing HR policies and procedures for 3 sites
*Performance & absence management
*Managing annual, maternity, paternity and sick leave
*Processing leavers
*Maintain HRIM
*Responsible for talent development
*Liaising with payroll department re: payroll and benefits
*All aspects of Employee Engagement

THE CANDIDATE:

*Proactive, positive and enthusiastic generalist HR professional
*Commercially focused with excellent interpersonal skills
*Strong communication skills both written and verbal
*Recruitment interviewing experience
*Good knowledge of current employment legislation
*Be CIPD or equivalent qualified or qualified by experience
*Strong IT skills including Outlook, Word, Excel and HR systems
*Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
*Team player able to escalate issues where necessary
*Experience of graduate recruitment would be a distinct advantage
