Group Management Accountant

Job description

 We’re delighted to be working with an established global organisation in Leeds to appoint a Group Management Accountant. This is a hands-on, highly visible role with a strong focus on core management accounting, delivering accurate consolidated reporting, insightful analysis, and supporting decision-making across multiple entities within the group.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and commercially minded management accountant looking to take ownership of a broad and varied role within a multi-entity environment.

 

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation and consolidation of monthly management accounts across multiple entities.

  • Production of accurate variance analysis with clear, insightful commentary.

  • Ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and wider financial planning processes.

  • Development of management information, KPIs, and dashboards to support decision-making.

  • Partnering with operational teams and senior stakeholders to support performance improvement and profitability.

  • Maintaining cash flow forecasting and working capital reporting.

  • Supporting statutory reporting processes and external audit requirements.

Ideally, you will be able to demonstrate the following experience:

  • CIMA, ACA, or ACCA qualified (or finalist with strong relevant experience).

  • Strong background in management accounting, group reporting, and financial analysis.

  • Experience producing full management accounts packs and supporting month-end close processes.

  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.

  • Communication skills with the ability to partner effectively across the business.

  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and confident working in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.
