Sharp Consultancy are working in partnership with a £100+ million T/O business operating across the UK, Ireland, Europe, Africa, USA and Asia. The business are a leading manufacturer and distributor with a current product range that includes products targeted to reduce environmental impact.
There is an excellent opportunity to join this growing and busy organisation providing Financial Support across the business in what will be a pivotal role and key member as part of the wider growth strategy.
You will need to be able to manage your own workload and prioritise tasks well as having a strong management reporting background alongside effective communication with all levels of the organisation, as well as external bodies as and when required.
Primary Responsibilities:
*Preparation and timely submission of Management Accounts and reports
*Ensuring all general ledger entries for the Head Office entities are recorded correctly and accurately with appropriate reconciliations
*Management of Group VAT reporting
*Control of monthly Group-wide intercompany balance reconciliation process investigating and resolving any discrepancies
*Assisting in producing accurate forecasts and budgets
*Co-ordinating external audits of the head office entities
*Processing and approval of payroll and purchase ledger payments across the group
*Supporting the business in developing and monitoring business appropriate systems and procedures.
*Ad hoc work as required
Person Spec:
*CIMA, ACA, ACCA qualification or QBE
*Experience of preparation of management accounts and management reporting.
*Proactive.
*Strong communicator.
*Advanced system skills including Microsoft Excel
*Outstanding planning and organisation skills and attention to detail
*Analytical thinking
*Excellent time management skills.
