This highly regarded and well respected organisation are actively seeking a Group HR Manager to oversee the HR Team and manage the day to day operational side of HR.
Reporting to the Head of HR, this hands-on role will evaluate and implement HR policies, programs and practices, evaluating employee relations and assist the Management Team to deliver strategic objectives. Overseeing the day to day HR function the HR Manager will manage talent and succession planning; advise on recruitment strategies and assist in the recruitment process; handle the appraisal system; work on reward strategy and maintain the benefits program; oversee the administration of payroll records, liaising with finance; and implement the learning and development policy.
Additionally, assisting the Head of HR, the HR Manager will manage generalist HR issues including overseeing general and more complex ER casework including disciplinaries, grievances, absence and performance problems (up to tribunal level) and assist in redundancy and TUPE processes should they arise. Working closely with Line Managers regarding absence management, terms of conditions of employment and sharing best practice is required.
The ideal candidate should be qualified up to level 7 CIPD, have previous experience managing complex ER casework (up to tribunal), have assisted in TUPE and redundancy processes and have strong influencing skills able to develop relationships. You must have excellent employment legislation knowledge, have a commercial outlook and have HR database experience.
