Sharp Consultancy are currently recruiting exclusively on behalf of an instantly recognisable business within the Hull area who are part of a large UK group and are now looking to recruit a Group Accountant to oversee the group finance function.
Our client has a first-class working environment and location, with an excellent benefits scheme as well as significant career progression opportunities. As part of the role, you will be reporting directly into the Group FD with a dotted line into the Group CFO.
The role will take full responsibility for all group financial reporting activities and will play an integral part within the groups finance function, the three key deliverables within the role can be split into;
*External reporting
To manage the delivery of timely, accurate and insightful reporting to external stakeholders
*Management information
To support the delivery of timely and accurate management information to the Board
*Financial and sustainability reporting
To lead the Group's journey towards best practice financial and sustainability reporting
You must be a qualified accountant, preferably chartered and ideally having qualified within a top 20 profession firm with significant ambitions to become a divisional finance director within an employer of choice. Any experience of a large group structure would be advantageous although not essential.
