Sharp Consultancy are working in partnership with a highly reputable and growing client within the Sheffield region who are looking to appoint an exceptional Group Accountant to lead the financial reporting across the group based at the head office in Sheffield.
Our client has grown over a sustained period of time and the business following new investment is now looking at a more dynamic growth strategy and will be looking to double turnover over the next 18 months.
The business has a range of key clients and is a solution specialist providing key business support across challenging projects.
*You will report directly into the FD and will have full responsibility for the day-to-day financial accounting and reporting processes
*You must have already worked within a technical accounting role with significant responsibility for board reporting and clear understanding of business performance
*You will also manage a small team which includes qualified and non-qualified accountants as well as transactional support team.
*Any experience of change management regarding growth would be highly advantageous but not essential
*And any previous experience of an investment backed business would be highly advantageous but again not essential
*IFRS knowledge would also be advantageous
All applicants must be qualified, and it is essential you can show a clear level of success within a previous appointment.
You must possess strong management and coaching skills, be an excellent communicator and lead with the required gravitas to drive the function at all levels.
