FP&A Manager

​We are delighted to be partnering with a well-established, private equity-backed global organisation to recruit an FP&A Manager for their growing finance team based in Leeds.

The FP&A Manager will play a key role in supporting strategic and commercial decision-making by delivering high-quality financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting. Working closely with the Finance Director and senior leadership team, the FP&A Manager will provide meaningful financial insights that drive profitability, improve operational performance, and support the organisation's long-term growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior leaders across operations, manufacturing, sales, supply chain, and procurement. Provide financial challenge and insight to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions.

  • Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting cycles.

  • Develop robust financial models to support strategic decision-making.

  • Produce rolling forecasts and scenario analysis to evaluate risks and opportunities.

  • Monitor performance vs budgets and forecasts, providing insight into variances.

  • Deliver timely and accurate management reporting to senior stakeholders.

  • Provide detailed variance analysis and provide clear, actionable commentary.

  • Analyse revenue, margins, costs, and profitability across products, customers etc.

  • Develop KPI reporting and MI to support commercial decision-making.

Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the below qualifications/experience:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).

  • Financial planning, forecasting, modelling, and analytical skills.

  • Experience gained within manufacturing, construction, engineering, industrial, or similarly operationally focused environments.

  • Good understanding of standard costing, product costing, and inventory analysis.

  • Experience working with ERP systems and business intelligence tools.

  • Ability to translate financial data into meaningful business insight.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills with confidence to influence and challenge.

  • Experience within multi-site, or PE-backed business would be advantageous.
