Working directly with the Finance Director and senior management team your duties will include:
*Implementing the oversight procedures ensuring that the identification and management of the risks are not only noted but actioned
*Adapt, implement, and improve current procedures
*Liaison with both Senior management team, directors, external stakeholders, administrators, Trustees/Depositaries, Investment Managers/Advisers, external auditors and clients
*Allocation of work evenly and appropriately distributed to the team; to ensure you are in line with pre-set deadlines, procedures and sufficient service levels
*Support junior team members
*Stay aligned with changes in regulations, prioritising; the authorised funds SORP and taxation changes
*Ensure all queries raised are responded and dealt with in a timely and accurate manner
Ideal candidate requirements:
*Ideally, hold an accounting qualification ((ACA/ACCA/CIMA). This is not essential
*Have excellent communication skills
*Ability to use excel to an advanced level
*Full understanding of reporting and accounts preparation with previous experience in the Financial Services industry
