Working closely with the CFO this role will involve:
*Production of management and financial reports in accurate and timely manner.
*Manage the budgeting and forecasting process including sales, margins, overheads, balance sheet and cash flow
*Production of the monthly board pack and circulation to the board
*Produce regular rolling forecasts with quantified profit improvement plans
*Report and manage the cash flow forecast of the business
*Act as primary contact for managing the banking relationships in line with the Senior Finance Agreement and the Investment Agreement
*Implement and manage the management information strategy of the group
*Provide support to operations on standard costing, variance analysis, net working capital management and capital investment
*Develop and report on commercial analysis including gap analysis, pricing and tendering
*Selection and implementation of an appropriate management information system
*Support of the operations department in introducing and analysing standard costs
*Effective partnering with the commercial department
*Develop an improved and insightful management information suite of reports
Ideally you will be:
*Qualified accountant with proven experience as an Analyst
*Advanced Excel user
*Highly experienced in the use of BI and MI systems
*Operational experienced in standard costing, variance analysis and supply chain finance
*Have broad experience of integrated ERP systems including production, supply chain, inventory and finance modules
*This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is keen to be a Finance Ambassador for the company, who wants to be involved in every aspect of the business and interact directly both with the board and the wider business. This would suit a professional and commercially astute FP&A Manager or Analyst who has solid background in this area.
