Hugely successful Manufacturing business based in Wakefield currently require a Finance Manager join their expanding team. Working in a well-established business, with continuous development at the heart of what they do; you will be involved in a variety of duties. The role is for a Finance Manager - offering an excellent all round finance opportunity, with varied responsibility and lots of exposure to commercial aspects of finance. They will provide huge scope for progression both parallel and vertical opportunities that will open up during your time in this business.

Reporting directly into the Finance Director you will be responsible for:

* Maintain regular communication to build and nurture relationships with other sites.
* Continuous development and management of financial systems and implement improvements when necessary.
* Assist in the control of income and expenditure and ensure spending is in line with budgets.
* Set and agree departmental budgets.
* Production of monthly management account packs, including variance analysis and relevant commentary.
* Responsible for recommendations/ways of reducing costs and improving overall business performance.
* Work with all departments and provide a support service to the management team to help make financial decisions.
* Present financial data to non-financial managers across the business.
* Monitor and assist with corporate governance procedures, risk management and internal controls.
* Offer support to the PL and SL functions when needed.

Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the below experience:

* ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified with previous strong experiences within the finance function.
* Strong Excel skills
* Ability to adapt and pick up projects on an ad hoc basis.
