Sharp Consultancy are partnering with one of the area's most successful and fastest growing leaders to find a unique individual to work within one of the most exciting parts of the business functions.
The role is a Finance Manager in title but offers a varied scope of non-traditional finance work as you will sit between the daily finance function and the investment/M&A team to help lead on acquisitions and provide the necessary support to ensure sound business decisions are made.
You must have a strategic and driven mindset ideally with experience of M&A work or similar Due Diligence/Business integration experience.
You will be exposed to board level communications and non-finance leaders and will be comfortable delivering within a project-based setting to agreed group deadlines.
The ideal candidate must be a fully qualified accountant with a recognised professional body (e.g., ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and have high commercial awareness alongside strong financial accounting and technical skills. Ideally having experienced or lead change management/investments within a finance team.
This role requires a highly analytical, charismatic leader, who is ready to challenge as well as transform and deliver key projects.
