A Leeds based Law firm is seeking a Finance Business Partner. The business is well established with a loyal customer base and strong brand. They have seen significant growth in recent years with turnover increasing by of 15% in the last year alone. As a result, they are now further developing their internal infrastructure hence the creation of this position.
The post is newly created and designed to work closely with the company Partners and senior leadership. You will be pivotal in aiding business decisions at the highest level and gain great exposure to the upper echelons of the firm. Strong communication, relationship and analytical skills will be necessary for success in this post.
The role responsibilities are likely to change as the position matures but you can expect your role and duties to include:
*Engaging with key stakeholders at a senior level across the business to understand and overcome key challenges affecting the financial performance of the business.
*Cost centre performance analysis and variance reporting.
*Own the delivery of insightful and comprehensive management reporting to aligned senior management team members.
*Support the delivery of essential inputs to the Business Plan for aligned areas of the business and work with the Head of Financial Performance in the consolidation of the wider UK General Business Plan.
*Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
*Support and lead ad-hoc strategic projects, investment/bid appraisal and transformation initiatives as required by the Head of Financial Performance.
This post is ideally suited to commercially minded accountants keen to make an impact in a growing business. The successful candidate will preferably be a qualified CIMA, ACCA or ACA accountant, however those with relative experience are welcome to apply.
