Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, the Commercial Accountant role is designed to support and challenge all aspects of the business in delivering strong commercial growth.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong commercial acumen, be an effective communicator with evident ability to influence and persuade at all levels as you will be working alongside operational and commercial colleagues.
Main Responsibilities include:
*Understand and challenge commercial and procurement performance
*Preparation of monthly commercial forecasts
*Support new business tenders and product costing submissions
*Review and authorise commercial terms payments
*Maintain reconciliation of commercial balance sheet accruals
*Management of commodity tracker models
*Ad-hoc support on commercial and procurement scenarios and analysis
Ideally you will have experience within FMCG or manufacturing, working in a commercial role as well as possessing strong team engagement and relationship building skills, hands on and an effective communicator.
