Sharp Consultancy are working in with a market leading independent firm of chartered accountants who, due to growth are looking to bring in an experienced auditor to support with a diverse portfolio of clients.
The role of Audit Senior will focus primarily on leading and completing audits and includes regular and varied client contact. The successful applicant will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships quickly aiming to deliver customer service excellence and to see projects through to completion in a timely manner.
Working alongside the Audit Manager you will have the opportunity to manage junior members of the audit team playing a key role in their professional development.
Responsibilities:
* Leading audits from planning through to completion liaising with the team and client where necessary
* Conducting post-audit reviews with clients
* Supporting with a broad client portfolio, including SMEs and corporate groups
* Manage a team of juniors-- reviewing their work and encouraging prompt and high-quality output
* Working closely with other departments to ensure that clients receive the best service possible
* Develop and expand the team's skillset and encourage ideas for improvement and efficiency
* Provide excellent service to clients by providing sound advice and guidance

* A basic salary of C£38,000
