​Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be working with a well-established and leading South Yorkshire accountancy practice in their search for an Audit and Accounts Semi Senior to join their growing team.

This semi senior role sits within a busy Business Services team and offers exposure to a varied client base across accounts and audit work. You will be involved in preparing year-end accounts for a range of SMEs, supporting audit assignments from planning through to fieldwork. Alongside the technical aspect you will have regular client interaction, helping to resolve queries and build strong working relationships.

This is a great opportunity for someone part-qualified (ACA/ACCA) who wants real exposure across a varied client base. This is ideal for a candidate possessing the flexibility to develop in accounts and audit as well as a desire to progress in a growing business.

Key responsibilities/duties:

  • Work with a varied client portfolio.

  • Assist with audit planning, testing and fieldwork, gaining exposure to end-to-end audit processes.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.

  • Prepare year-end accounts and support clients with ongoing financial queries.

  • Support and guide junior team members, reviewing work and contributing to their development.

Who you are:

  • ACA/ACCA part qualified
