Assistant Management Accountant

Market leading business in the Leeds area are currently recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant who is part qualified and actively studying towards full qualification in either CIMA or ACCA. The business has continued their impressive performance with multiple acquisitions which has in turn lead to further growth and the need to expand the finance function. You will work closely with a team of management accountants and assist the full preparation of the monthly management accounts, preparation of financial data and be involved in different ad hoc financial tasks and projects.
Your duties will include but not be limited to:
*Assist with the preparation and production of monthly management accounts.
*Produce insightful weekly and monthly management information packs.
*Manage and help monitor cash flow.
*Weekly profit and capital working forecasts
*Control and preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
*Balance sheet reconciliations.
*Ensue the continual review and improvement of procedures and key controls.
*Support with ad hoc projects and reporting.

Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the following experience:

*ACCA/CIMA qualified or part qualified Accountant or equivalent by experience.
*Ability to effectively prioritise work load.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Analytical skills and a high attention to detail.
*Excellent Excel skills with the ability to use pivot tables and vlookups.
