​Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be working with a growing and forward-thinking business as they look to appoint an Assistant Finance Business Partner to their finance team.

Working closely with a senior Finance Business Partner, this is a commercially focused role where you will play a key part in supporting key internal stakeholders with meaningful financial insight. You will gain exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis, helping to drive informed decision-making across the business.

This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) candidate looking to move into a more commercially focused role, with clear progression into a Finance Business Partner position.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process.

  • Producing and analysing monthly management accounts and KPIs.

  • Partnering with non-finance stakeholders to provide financial insight.

  • Assisting with variance analysis and performance reporting.

  • Supporting business cases and ad-hoc commercial analysis.

  • Contributing to continuous improvement of processes and reporting.

Who you are:

  • Part-qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or actively studying.

  • Experience in commercial finance.

  • Confidence to communicate with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.

  • Be keen to develop within a commercial finance / business partnering environment.
