My client is a friendly and supportive organisation who are based just outside of central Leeds with excellent transport links. Due to a recent system changes they are looking to secure the services of a talented Accounts Payable Specialist. This role will be to assist with the review and reconciliation of some aged invoices and to support with processing the backlog on the system.
Duties will include:
*Logging and processing of Purchase Ledger invoices
*Processing Purchase Ledger invoices in line with 3-way match principles (P2P)
*Reconciling supplier statements
*Liaising with suppliers to resolve queries to facilitate prompt payment
*Chasing internal stakeholders for invoices and resolving queries, challenging where necessary
To be considered for this role our client is looking for you to ideally demonstrate a thorough understanding of Accounts Payable and ideally have worked in a volume processing role previously. This role would suit a candidate who has dealt with complex queries and who has a flair for computer systems.
