An award winning company in Harrogate is looking for a vibrant Accounts Assistant to join their finance team on a temporary contract to cover maternity leave. The ideal candidate would be AAT level three qualified as a minimum.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role include (but are not limited to):

*General accounts preparation.
*Inputting and processing purchase ledger invoices.
*Processing payments and making payment runs.
*Following up on overdue payments by phone and email.
*General accounts administration on an ad-hoc basis.
*VAT submissions.

The candidate most suited to this position would demonstrate the following qualities:

*Ability to work effectively in a team.
*The initiative to manage their own workload.
*Excellent Microsoft Office skills (in particularly Excel).
*Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
