They are looking for two Finance Assistants to join their finance team to carry out a job share, on a part-time, permanent basis. This will be based at their Doncaster (DN4) Head Office location. This is in an accessible region from a range of South Yorkshire locations, being close to major road networks such as the M18, M1 and A1.
Key responsibilities of this role include, but not exclusive to:
* Produce invoices and credit notes
* Process invoices by reference to Sage accounts coding structure
* Bank and account for all monies received
* Monthly review of the Sales Ledger
* Deal with queries
* Chase overdue accounts and keeping a log of communications
* Month end cut off-close period by agreed date
* Reconcile accounts on Sage monthly, investigating any errors or omissions.
* Preparation and processing of Journal into Sage
* Bank reconciliations
* Reconcile payments to branch figures
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
* Experience of working in a finance team environment (Essential)
* Experience working on relevant accountancy software (Sage 200 and Excel is desirable)
* Excellent communication skills
* Good telephone manner
* Attention to detail
