This reputable and well respected organisation in Bradford are seeking an experienced HR Officer to join their busy team on a permanent basis.
The HR Officer is to support each site and the centralised team regarding disciplinary and grievance processes, providing coaching regarding HR policies and procedures, assisting in performance management issues and maintaining the HR system in relation to employee records and creating reports.
Working closely with the COO to mitigate HR risk, the HR Officer will also handle various projects including the creation of a new on-boarding system, guiding the HR Advisor in relation to changes in employment and working conditions and assisting with the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems. Furthermore the HR Officer will work as part of a team to manage recruitment processes including the creation of job descriptions and handling any advert response.
The ideal candidate will be working towards their CIPD qualification, have previous experience working in an HR Officer / Administrator capacity with sound knowledge of employment law and have good MS Office capabilities and be highly organised. It would be desirable if experience had been gained from working within an education or public sector body, and have some commercial exposure with a professional work ethic.
